Farmer's Market Stir Fry
Teriyaki Sauce
¼ cup soy sauce
¾ cup water
1 tbsp peeled & grated ginger
2 tbsp honey
Stir Fry
4 servings of brown rice
2 tbsp oil
2 cups of fresh chopped vegetables
1 lb of your choice of Meat or Seafood
- Cook the brown rice according to package directions.
- To make the sauce combine the four ingredients (soy sauce, water, ginger & honey) in a small pot over high heat. Bring to a boil and then keep on a low simmer while you prepare the stir fry.
- In a wok or sauté pan heat the oil over medium heat then add meat.
- Once the meat is cooked through remove it and set aside. Then add the vegetables to the pan.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, add the meat and sauce to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes
- Serve over the cooked rice
I love this recipe. It seems easy, healthy and fulfilling. Working full time and attending school while taking care of a family can leave very little time to cook and eat healthy. I will be adding this gem to my menus for the family. I look forward to the next recipe post. Loving it!
